We had revealed to you last week how Salman Khan‘s Bigg Boss 11 will be preponed to September this year. While this was a good news for one and all, considering that the latest season will be even longer, but looks like there is a downside to it too. Apparently, apart from cashing in on the festive season, Bigg Boss 11 will also force out Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10. Yes, this year the dance reality show might not take place because of lack of appropriate slots. As a source revealed to Mumbai Mirror, “Bigg Boss will replace Rohit Shetty’s Khatron Ke Khiladi that is currently on air, so there’s no slot for Jhalak this year.”In fact, while Salman Khan has been announced as the host of Bigg Boss 11 and he will be shooting for the promos soon, there is no such movement for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa. Neither have the judges been finalised nor have the contestants been approached. Rumours were doing the rounds that Sridevi and Govinda would judge Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 10, but then again, there has been no announcement yet. With the show hitting all time low ratings last season, we guess Colors is either planning to scrap the show or delay it until the end of the year and give it a massive tweak. However, nothing is confirmed yet. Jacqueline Fernandez, Karan Johar and Ganesh Hegde were the judges for Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 9, which aired last year. The show had kick-started in July 2016 and went on for seven months, ending finally in January 2017. However, this year, it’s July end, but there is still no sign of any progress on the latest season. For those of you who don’t remember, Teriya Magar beat seasoned dancers like Salman Yusuff Khan and Shantanu Maheshwari to clinch the trophy last season.
